New in role email template for new executives
New leaders review tools and vendors in their first months, and their appointment is public. The email respects that they have not settled in and asks nothing large.
When to use it
- A leadership page, news item or profile shows a recent appointment.
- The role owns the problem you solve.
- Their previous company is public and relevant.
The template
Copy it, then replace the brackets with what you read on their pages.
Subject: Your first months at {{company_name}}
Hi {{first_name}},
[The page] says you joined as [role] recently. New [role titles] often start by checking [the thing you help with] before changing it.
We [what you do]. I can send [a small, specific thing] for the first-months review if it would help.
If not, congratulations and no reply is needed.
[your first name]Outlevo adds your sender name, postal address and a one-click unsubscribe link under every email it sends, so a template ends at the sign-off.
{{first_name}},{{company_name}}and{{job_title}}are filled for each contact.- Anything in [square brackets] is yours to write, from a page you read.
Why it works
- It names what the new leader will probably review, which is true of most new leaders.
- It does not assume you know their priorities.
- It gives them something useful to read without a meeting.

Subject: Your first months at Highbridge
Hi {{first_name}},
Your leadership page says you joined as Chief Member Experience Officer this spring. New leaders in that role often start by checking how members are contacted before changing it.
We help credit unions see every member message in one place. I can send a one-page checklist for the first-months review if it would help.
If not, congratulations and no reply is needed.
