Funding announcement email template
A funding announcement is public, dated and explicit about what the money is for. The email quotes it and avoids congratulations that sound like every other sender.
When to use it
- The company announced a round on its own newsroom or blog.
- The announcement says what the money is for (hiring, a new market, a product).
- Your product fits that stated use.
The template
Copy it, then replace the brackets with what you read on their pages.
Subject: After the round at {{company_name}}
{{why_now}}
Hi {{first_name}},
The announcement says the money is for [the stated use]. Teams at that point usually need [what it requires] faster than they can hire for it. We [what you do].
Should I send [a small thing]? If not, no worries.
[your first name]Outlevo adds your sender name, postal address and a one-click unsubscribe link under every email it sends, so a template ends at the sign-off.
{{first_name}},{{company_name}}and{{job_title}}are filled for each contact.{{why_now}}is filled by Outlevo from the account’s freshest buying signal, with its page and date, or left empty when there is none. By hand, write one line with the event and the page.- Anything in [square brackets] is yours to write, from a page you read.
Why it works
- It uses their own stated use of funds, so the link between the news and your offer is theirs, not yours.
- It skips congratulations, which every sender sends.
- The ask is small and specific.

| the announcement says the funding is for opening regional hubs | “The funding will let us open regional hubs across the Midwest.” | verityfreight.example/news |
Subject: After the round at Verity Freight
Hi {{first_name}},
Your announcement says the funding will let you open regional hubs across the Midwest. Teams at that point usually need dock scheduling in place faster than they can hire for it. We make dock scheduling for new hubs.
Should I send a short note on how hubs set it up? If not, no worries.

When should I not use the funding signal template?
This template and its variants pass the check Outlevo runs on its own outbound emails: only known merge tags, no number without a source, no spam wording, at most one link, no fake “Re:” or “Fwd:”, and under a hundred and twenty words.
