Product launch outreach email template
A launch is a public, dated event with a team that is busy and a set of needs that appear in the next weeks. Write about those needs, not about the launch itself.
When to use it
- A changelog, news item or launch page announces a new product or major feature.
- Your product helps in the period after a launch (support, onboarding, content, analytics).
- The launch is within the last few weeks.
The template
Copy it, then replace the brackets with what you read on their pages.
Subject: After the [product] launch
{{why_now}}
Hi {{first_name}},
The weeks after a launch like that tend to bring [what follows in your area]. We [what you do].
Would a short note on what teams set up first help? If not, I will leave it there.
[your first name]Outlevo adds your sender name, postal address and a one-click unsubscribe link under every email it sends, so a template ends at the sign-off.
{{first_name}},{{company_name}}and{{job_title}}are filled for each contact.{{why_now}}is filled by Outlevo from the account’s freshest buying signal, with its page and date, or left empty when there is none. By hand, write one line with the event and the page.- Anything in [square brackets] is yours to write, from a page you read.
Why it works
- It looks ahead at the work the launch creates, which is where help is wanted.
- A launch date is a real deadline for the reader.
- It avoids praising the product, which you may not have used.

Subject: After the Team Workspaces launch
Hi {{first_name}},
Your changelog announces Team Workspaces for all plans.
The weeks after a launch like that tend to bring a spike of how-to questions. Helpwell turns your docs into answers customers can find before they write.
Would a short note on what teams set up first help? If not, I will leave it there.

When should I not use the product launch template?
This template and its variants pass the check Outlevo runs on its own outbound emails: only known merge tags, no number without a source, no spam wording, at most one link, no fake “Re:” or “Fwd:”, and under a hundred and twenty words.
