Pricing change email template
A new plan, a removed free tier or a price change on a public page is a dated fact about strategy. It tells you the company is repositioning, which opens questions about messaging, billing and support.
When to use it
- Their pricing page added, removed or renamed a plan.
- A change to usage limits or add-ons is visible.
- You track pricing pages and can show the date of change.
The template
Copy it, then replace the brackets with what you read on their pages.
Subject: The new plans at {{company_name}}
Hi {{first_name}},
I noticed that [the page] now [the change, in their words].
A change like that usually means [what follows from it: billing, support, messaging]. We [what you do for that].
Would a short note on how teams handle it help? If not, I will leave it there.
[your first name]Outlevo adds your sender name, postal address and a one-click unsubscribe link under every email it sends, so a template ends at the sign-off.
{{first_name}},{{company_name}}and{{job_title}}are filled for each contact.- Anything in [square brackets] is yours to write, from a page you read.
Why it works
- A pricing change is a rare, concrete event that most senders never notice.
- It shows you track the page, not just visited it once.
- It points at the work that follows the change.

Illustrative. Lumen Scheduling (lumenscheduling.example) is an invented company, and so is Ravi at Billwright. The pages quoted do not exist. The email goes to its Head of Finance.
| What the email says | Quote on the page | Page (illustrative) |
|---|---|---|
| your pricing page now charges per location | “Pricing is now per location, billed monthly.” | lumenscheduling.example/pricing |
Subject: Per-location pricing at Lumen
Hi {{first_name}},
I noticed that your pricing page now says pricing is per location, billed monthly.
A change like that usually means invoices that vary customer by customer. Billwright handles per-location invoices and the questions customers ask about them.
Would a short note on how teams handle it help? If not, I will leave it there.

When should I not use the pricing change template?
This template and its variants pass the check Outlevo runs on its own outbound emails: only known merge tags, no number without a source, no spam wording, at most one link, no fake “Re:” or “Fwd:”, and under a hundred and twenty words.
